The English Sisters

Hi friends,

We have all heard the phrase ‘you are what you eat’ – abbiamo tutti sentito la frase ’sei quello che mangi’.

The same principle applies to our thoughts – lo stesso principio si può applicare ai nostri pensieri.

You are what you think you are – sei quello che pensi di essere…

 Here is a funny little story that we came across – qui c’e una piccola storia che ci è capitata di sentire..

There once was a tiny frog competition – c’era una volta una gara fra rane minuscole.

The frogs goal was to reach the top of a very high tower – il traguardo delle rane era di raggiungere la cima di una torre molto alta.

A crowd started TO GATHER to watch the frogs run - una folla inziò a formarsi per vedere correre le rane.

No one in the crowd believed the frogs would make it to the top – nessuno tra la folla credeva che le rane avrebbero raggiunto la cima.

They shouted:  They will never make it- non c’e la faranno mai!

It’s way too DIFFICULT! – gridarono,è troppo difficile!

The frogs began to feel the crowd was right, it was impossible – le rane iniziarono a pensare che la folla avesse ragione, era impossibile…

The tiny frogs began collapsing down one by one - le minuscule rane inziarono ad accasciarsi per terra una per una.

Until there was only ONE left – finchè rimase una sola…

When he finally reached the top – quando  finalmente raggiunse la cima,

all the other frogs wanted to know how he had managed to do it – tutte le rane volevano sapere come era riuscito a farcela.

A contestant asked the winner how he had found the strength to reach the top  – un concorrente chiese al vincitore di spiegare a tutti come aveva fatto.

It turns out the  tiny frog winner had EARPHONES in his ears, and had not heard a word - risulta che la rana vincitrice aveva le cuffie per sentire la musica e non aveva sentito nulla!
