Do you flush? – tirate lo sciacquone?

This most personal question was asked to Cameron Diaz by Jay Leno the other night on American T.V – questa domanda piuttosto personale è stata rivolta a Cameron Diaz l’altra sera sulla T.V americana.

Cameron replied ‘If it’s yellow let it mellow, if it’s brown flush it down’- Cameron rispose ‘ se è gialla lasciala riposare, se è marrone tira lo sciacquone.’

OH MY GOD!

HOW DISGUSTING! – che schifo!

Those were our first thoughts – questi sono stati i nostri primi pensieri…

Then we carried on listening – poi abbiamo continuato ad ascoltare…

Over 40% of drinking water  supplied to our homes is flushed down the toilet everyday – piu’ del 40% dell’acqua fornita alle  nostre case  viene utilizzata per la toilette…

That’s alot of water – è molta acqua…

Water is becoming scarse – l’acqua sta diventando scarsa…

So maybe flushing ‘only if brown’ isn’t such a bad idea after all – quindi forse ‘sciacquare solo se è marrone’ non sia cosi’ male come idea.

Yes, yes, we realise it will require a certain amount of courage – si, si ci rendiamo conto, ci vorrà un bel pò di coraggio…
